Nestled on the northern bank of the Qujiang River, Xitan village in Qujiang district, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has transformed from a traditional fishing community into a burgeoning hub of entrepreneurship.

With its scenic beauty and strategic location, the village now attracts visitors and entrepreneurs alike.

Xitan village covers an area of 0.68 square kilometers, housing 65 families and 391 residents.

Once dependent on ferries for transportation, the village's connectivity improved dramatically with the completion of a picturesque 20-kilometer riverside highway. This development greatly reduced travel time to the city's downtown, making the village a desirable weekend getaway.

Jiang Yanfang is the proprietor of Tianye Garden in the village. Her establishment, featuring rustic accommodations, outdoor campsites, and a natural vegetable garden, has become a local hotspot, drawing visitors with its artisanal bread and coffee.

Jiang, also a founder of the "Young Village Partner Alliance", leverages the platform to unite like-minded young entrepreneurs. This initiative fosters a supportive community, encouraging innovative business models that blend leisure and local culture.

The village's economy is further bolstered by the cultivation of rosemary, creating an integrated supply chain from planting to product sales, including perfumes and soaps.

Xitan's transformation is supported by the Young Entrepreneurship Service Center, which offers financial support and efficient services to aspiring entrepreneurs.

The village's story exemplifies how strategic infrastructure and community-driven initiatives can lead to sustainable rural vitalization and shared prosperity.
