The "Our Power" 2025 Sharing Session of Chinese and Foreign Children was held on Oct 25 in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province. Over 100 children from countries including China, the United States, Canada, Australia, and more, gathered to discuss culture, environmental protection, and technology.

The event featured Go competitions, cultural experiences, and thematic discussions, providing a platform for children worldwide to broaden their horizons and forge friendships, uniting them towards a sustainable future.

At the sharing session, child representatives delivered speeches on themes such as cultural exchange, environmental guardianship, and innovative futures.

For example, Du Shangjie and Fang Xiangyi from Quzhou shared their experiences as members of the city's Children's Observation Group, demonstrating the new generation's sense of responsibility. Dash from the US discussed learning Go as a bridge for cross-cultural communication, hoping to foster friendships beyond borders.

The sharing session concluded with the release of the "Creating a Better Future by and for Children — Embarking on a New Journey toward Sustainable Development" initiative, urging children worldwide to contribute to environmental protection, cultural preservation, and technological innovation.

UNICEF China's Child-Friendly Cities Initiative Officer Yang Han praised the diversity and unique perspectives shared, emphasizing the children's commitment to making the world a better place.

Quzhou's efforts to become a more child-friendly city have borne fruit, empowering children to more actively participate in urban development.
