These days the market for Kaihua Longding spring tea – cultivated in Kaihua county, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province – is quite bustling with activity.
Recognized as one of Zhejiang's top 10 teas, it's celebrated for its straight, elegant appearance, vibrant green color, lasting fragrance, and fresh, mellow flavor.
The beverage has garnered a strong following among tea enthusiasts and boasts a brand value reportedly exceeding 3 billion yuan ($413.75 million).
Currently, tea merchants are busy inspecting, packaging, and shipping the tea, as the premium spring tea hits the market in bulk.

The tea entered the market in small quantities on March 5. Now, over 2,000 kilograms of dried tea leaves enter the market daily.
The market is expected to hit a peak trading period in early April, with daily transaction volumes potentially topping 5,000 kilograms.
