Workers at Huofa Accessories Factory in Changshan county – in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province – are currently very busy fulfilling orders for accessories destined for a trio of countries.
"Our main export markets are India, Pakistan, and Brazil, with daily sales of around 40,000 yuan ($5,489)," said factory director Huang Huofa.
At its workshop, workers skillfully attach metal flower pieces, pearl decorations, and tassels to create exquisite hand fans. The factory also produces trendy overseas items like Indian-style tassel earrings, French crown headbands, and pearl hairpins.

The factory ships over 14,000 accessory items in more than 20 overseas packages daily, according to staff.
"I often visit India, Pakistan, and Brazil to understand local aesthetic preferences and to discuss design styles with clients." Huang added.
In addition to handmade processes, the factory has introduced three automated machines. These can simultaneously complete the attaching of rhinestones to six accessory items in minutes. The three machines can produce up to 200,000 items daily.
"Last year, our annual revenue was over 13 million yuan, and this year we've already secured over 1 million yuan in international orders within the first month," Huang added.
