The launch of the Spring Festival activities program of Quzhou's museum alliance – together with the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of Ancient Jade and Aesthetic Life – took place at the Quzhou Museum on Jan 20.

In January, the first museum alliance was established in Quzhou city, located in East China's Zhejiang province. It comprises 16 members including the Chinese Confucianism Museum, the Family Temple of Confucius in Quzhou, the Quzhou Urban Exhibition Hall, Quzhou Museum, Quzhou Cultural Center, and the Quzhou Library.

To celebrate the Year of the Snake, the museum alliance has meticulously planned nearly 400 Spring Festival cultural events.

Highlights include the Quzhou Museum's Exhibition of Ancient Jade and Aesthetic Life, the Quzhou Urban Exhibition Hall's Spring Festival-themed activities, and the Quzhou Cultural Center's interactive events integrating Southern Confucian culture into the Spring Festival celebrations.

At the event, the Exhibition of Ancient Jade and Aesthetic Life kicked off, showcasing over 100 exquisite pieces or sets of jade artifacts. The comprehensive display vividly portrays the enduring and splendid nature of Chinese jade culture.

The jade exhibition marks the beginning of Spring Festival activities of Quzhou's museum alliance. The aim is to create a great atmosphere, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of traditional culture through these artistic treasures.
