The Quzhou Ancient City Cultural Tourism Zone covers an area of 3.2 square kilometers and includes a culture study area, a cultural experience area, an ecological recreation area, and a creative leisure area. Since opening in 2016, it’s become an important cultural tourism destination in Zhejiang and even across the country.
The zone features rich cultural display areas. Here, visitors can closely observe the production process of Quzhou celadon as a state-level intangible cultural heritage, watch and experience the fashioning of sugar figurines – and try their hand at making traditional intangible cultural heritage delights like Shaoyongfeng sesame cakes and Longyou crispy cakes.
