Since its debut in Shanghai, the exhibition Travelogue, displaying printmaking works by Zhang Yuanfan, has been held at various venues, including the Quzhou Art Museum and Jiaxing Art Museum, showcasing the beauty of printmaking art, according to Tide News on Nov 14.
The exhibition features 80 exquisite printmaking works that reflect the artist's contemplations on life. These works bring the art of printmaking to a broader audience, satisfying viewers from various backgrounds.
Zhang Yuanfan's approach to printmaking is uniquely his own. He uses a single woodblock as the base, carving away portions of it to print each layer of the image. This method allows for the creation of printmaking works with rich and complex layers.
The exhibition Travelogue tours multiple locations and adopts a mobile exhibition style, breaking away from the conventional exhibition format.
