Quzhou leads Zhejiang in tourism growth
From Oct 1 to 7, Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province welcomed 1.739 million visitors, a 22.43 percent year-on-year increase, the highest in the province, Tide News reported on Oct 9.
Overnight stays reached 1.201 million, growing by 25.19 percent, ranking second in the province.
According to local culture and tourism authorities, Quzhou has developed a wide range of attractions, from natural landscapes to cultural experiences. Improvements in transportation, accommodation, and visitor services have made the city more accessible and tourist-friendly.
The city also hosted a series of engaging festivals and activities during the National Day holiday. Quzhou's effective promotion of its unique offerings, particularly its integration of cultural heritage with modern experiences, has resonated with tourists across the country, said the local authorities.
