The "Luming Mountain Cultural Courtyard Street", a cultural and commercial hub in Quzhou, is set to become a new urban landmark by the end of this year.
Blending culture, business, and tourism, the site has quickly gained popularity, with its first phase already a top destination for visitors.
The street's design pays homage to traditional aesthetics, with precise axial layouts, tiered courtyards, and intricate wood and brick carvings. Wide streets and narrow alleys evoke the charm of ancient marketplaces, recreating everyday scenes from the past.
The second phase of the project is currently underway, divided into two sections: Block B and Block C. In Block B, over 300 workers are focusing on exterior renovations and infrastructure for 11 commercial buildings. These are expected to pass inspection by the end of September, with the basement area to be ready for final inspection by late November. The space is being designed to host studios, boutique lodgings, corporate headquarters, and more.
Block C, featuring 70 commercial courtyard buildings, is nearing completion, with 95 percent of the exterior work finished. It will primarily house cultural organizations and corporate offices.
The entire project is on track to be completed by year-end, opening a new chapter in the development of Quzhou's cultural and commercial landscape.
