As the Chinese New Year approaches, Jianglang Mountain in Jiangshan, Quzhou, Zhejiang province has prepared a special treat for visitors.
A striking 298-meter-long and 4-meter-high art installation named "Red Sun" has been erected at the end of the "Yixian Tian" (One Line Sky) within the scenic area.
This is a special experience tailored to visitors who will be climbing the mountain during the Spring Festival holiday, noted a representative of Jiangshan Culture and Tourism Group.
The representative added that ascending step by step towards the sun symbolizes progressing to greater heights. Climbing in pursuit of blessings is not only a tradition of the Chinese nation but also a popular way to welcome the New Year in Jiangshan in recent years.
The "Red Sun" at the "Yixian Tian" will be open to visitors from Feb 10 to 16 from 8:00 and 17:00.
