Quzhou in Zhejiang province has made significant progress in improving its transportation facilities, with two projects recently earning provincial recognition.
One of these projects is a multimodal transportation hub comprising facilities such as the Hangzhou-Quzhou High-speed Railway, Quzhou-Lishui Railway, and a navigation-power junction.
The hub's objective is to establish an integrated transportation system with seamless connectivity among railways, highways, waterways, and air transportation. It serves as a linkage point connecting four provinces all adjacent to Quzhou — Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Fujian.
The second project focuses on roads traversing the mountainous areas of Kaihua county, playing a key role in deepening the integration of transportation and tourism.
These roads are critical to helping the county harness its natural resources for the development of rural tourism, aligning with its broader goal of promoting common prosperity.
