Fangmen Street in Kecheng district, Quzhou, Zhejiang province has been rated as a provincial characteristic commercial block, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province announced on Dec 4.

The street, which features ancient buildings, has been a business area since the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

It is best known for its various local delicacies, intangible cultural heritage items such as sugar figurines and egg carving, and affordable small commodities.
