Kecheng district and Jiangshan city in Quzhou, Zhejiang province have been included in the top 100 high-speed train travel destinations in the Yangtze River Delta region, according to local media reports.

As the economic, political, cultural, and commercial center of Quzhou, Kecheng civilization can be traced back to over 7,000 years ago, while the district itself is over 1,800 years old. It was recognized as a national historical and cultural city in 1982.

Dubbed the "Home of Southern Confucianism" and the "center of Go chess", the district abounds with cultural and tourist attractions, and it is currently home to one national 4A scenic attraction and four national 3A scenic attractions.

Jiangshan is best known for Jianglang Mountain, the first world natural heritage site in the province.

The selection of high-speed train travel destinations in the YRD region is part of efforts to promote the integrated development of Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui.
