The 2023 World Digital Economy Conference and the 13th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo opened in Ningbo on Oct 13.

The three-day event attracted 20 delegations from different provinces and countries. The conference focused on the theme "Deepening Innovation, Integrating Data and Reality", and featured four types of activities: forums, exhibitions, investment promotion, and digital consumption.

Among the nearly 300 exhibitors, Zhejiang Zhuanzhu Zhilian Technology Co Ltd, a Quzhou-based company, displayed its products and services in the future industry pavilion.

More than 200 experts and entrepreneurs, including academicians from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and foreign academicians, attended the conference.

Zhejiang Zhuanzhu Zhilian Technology Co Ltd's chief technology officer, Cui Haoliang, and Quzhou entrepreneur Jiang Zhengrong also gave keynote speeches at the 2023 Metaverse and Digital Twin Innovation Forum.

This year's exhibition area covered 30,000 square meters, an increase of 20 percent, and was divided into five themed pavilions. A new international digital trade zone themed on the Belt and Road Initiative was set up, where 18 digital innovation enterprises from 13 countries, including Germany and France, participated.
