The 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou ended on Oct 8.

Quzhou athletes Huang Yaqiong, Yu Yiting, Yu Dan and Liu Yi won six gold and two silver medals in badminton, swimming and kurash.

Huang Yaqiong defended her mixed doubles title in badminton. Yu Yiting broke the women's 200m individual medley record. Yu Dan and Liu Yi won China's first two kurash gold medals.

A total of 18 Quzhou referees and technical officials also participated in the Games in athletics, weightlifting, shooting, basketball and other events. They officiated various competitions or were responsible for field operations. Dai Saiguo, an international table tennis referee, said he was honored to be a part of the Asian Games and promote the spirit of the Games.

Quzhou food also appeared on Asian Games dining tables. Changshan Gong noodles, which used to serve as a tribute to emperors, attracted celebrities such as Guo Jingjing, Bai Yansong and Shi Yigong. Kaihua freshwater fish, a Zhejiang specialty dish, was popular among foreign guests. Longyou fagao, a soft and sweet snack, was favored by many people who liked desserts.

Quzhou's healthy natural environment is what makes its food so delicious. The city also launched the "Serve Dishes for the Asian Games" activity to recommend other specialty dishes to domestic and foreign tourists via online short videos.
