Mengjiang village in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of nature and the charm of history.

The village is located on the bank of the Qujiang River, surrounded by picturesque scenery. It has a sea of flowers covering an area of 300 mu (20 hectares), a nine-story ancient tower that dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and a group of earthen mound tombs from the Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC).

The sea of flowers is a popular attraction among tourists, especially in October when the pink daisies are in full bloom.

Mengjiang Tower, standing on the north bank of the Qujiang River, is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. It was built in 1573 and rebuilt in 1611.

The village also has many cultural attractions. It is said to be the site of Gumi Country, a vassal state of the Western Zhou Dynasty. Archaeologists have excavated four earthen mound tombs from the Western Zhou period on the north bank of the Qujiang River, three of which are located in Mengjiang village. A Western Zhou Archaeological Site Museum is being built to display the findings at the site.
