The 2023 International Confucianism Forum and Southern Confucianism Cultural Season kicked off in Quzhou, Zhejiang province on Sept 6.

They are expected to explore the modern significance of Confucian culture and play an active role in promoting the development of traditional Chinese culture and its spread around the world.
In addition, the 2023 Southern Confucianism Cultural Season will last until October, with activities such as the Beijing tour of Nan Kong (a music drama), an Analects competition in Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, and Jiangxi provinces, and a commemoration ceremony for Confucius' 2,574th birthday.
