2023 National Athletics Championships to kick off in Quzhou

The 2023 National Athletics Championships will be held in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, from July 20 to 23.
The National Athletics Championships are hosted by the Chinese Athletics Association, Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau, and Quzhou municipal people's government. It is the most prestigious domestic competition in terms of standards, technical organization requirements, and public attention.
A total of 31 teams from different provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country will compete, with more than 1,300 athletes, leaders of spotrs teams and coaches participating in 38 athletics events in Quzhou.
Famous athletes such as Gong Lijiao, Wu Yanni, Zhu Yaming, and Feng Zhiqiang are expected to appear in Quzhou during the event, which will be broadcast live on CCTV-5, a sports channel of China Central Television.
This year's championship will for the first time hold a single event on the street. On the evening of July 20, the women's high jump final will be held at the outer square of Shuitingmen, where the top 16 female high jumpers in the country will compete on the stage.
From July 21 to 23, the remaining field events will be held at the Quzhou Sports Center Stadium. People can make reservations through the official WeChat public account of "Huoli Quzhou" to watch the competitions.
