According to the Quzhou statistics bureau, Quzhou's industry, investment and consumption sectors maintained relatively fast growth from January to April.

The added value of the city's industrial enterprises above designated size reached 18.98 billion yuan ($2.68 billion), a year-on-year increase of 8.3 percent, which was 0.8 percentage points lower than that of the first quarter.

Among the 34 major types of industries in the city, 20 showed positive growth in added value, and many key industries maintained double-digit growth.

Various types of investment achieved relatively fast growth. The city's fixed asset investment increased by 12.4 percent year-on-year, which was 0.1 percentage points lower than that of the first quarter.
