10 Quzhou items recognized as provincial ICH items

A total of 10 items from Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province was recently included in the sixth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage items, according to the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.

The list of the intangible cultural heritage items was divided into eight categories: folk literature, traditional music, traditional dance, traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics, traditional art, traditional techniques, traditional medicine, as well as folk customs.

The city's five items were included on the list of traditional techniques, including traditional oil pressing skills (Qujiang traditional oil pressing skills), Longyou lotus seed wine brewing skills, Longyou pepper making skills, beekeeping and honey making skills, as well as Changshan Gong noodle making skills.

Lei's family medicine, Ye's family traditional Chinese paediatric medicine, and Liao's family snake wound medicine were classified as traditional medicine, while the sacrificial rites of Zhao Bian was included on the list of folk customs.

In addition, Hong's family boxing skills was included on the list of traditional sports, entertainment, and acrobatics.
