The Quzhou Museum recently displayed more than 100 cultural relics collected over the past two years, local media reported on Jan 27.

The exhibition will last until April 18.

The cultural relics on display mainly include jade, porcelain, bronze and stone wares. Most of them were ancient stationery accessories, as well as some tea sets and decorative ornaments.

Ancient Chinese stationery accessories have a long history and a wide variety of types. In addition to the four treasures of the study, there are water vases, ink-stands, ink boxes, brush pots, writing-brush washers, paperweights, seals and seal boxes, which are both practical and ornamental.

The Quzhou Museum has been making great efforts to collect and protect cultural relics. Through purchases, handovers and donations, the museum has collected a large number of precious cultural relics, including fossils and stone pottery from prehistoric times, various porcelain and jade ware and lacquered wood from after the Han and Tang dynasties (206 BC-907).
