The first season of the Chinese and foreign youth dialogue and the inauguration ceremony of the overseas branch of the New Era Theory Advocacy Group were held on Jan 11 in Longyou county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province. The event was titled "In Zhejiang, see the future countryside".

Attendees of the event included young people from Canada, Russia, Georgia, Argentina, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Bangladesh, and other countries as well as overseas students with household registration in Longyou county and speakers born in the 80s and 90s.

They went to Xikou village in Xikou town, Tuanshi village in Xiaonanhai town and Pushan village in Zhanjia town to experience first-hand the results of the construction of beautiful villages in the new era and to carry out cultural exchanges.

At the county museum, Li Chen, a lecturer from Longyou county's New Era Theory Advocacy Group, elaborated on historical facts and data, explaining that Zhejiang is forging ahead as a model area for high-quality development and working toward common prosperity.

Subsequently, a flag-awarding ceremony for the establishment of the overseas branch of the Longyou county New Era Theory Advocacy Group was held, and members of the overseas branch wore the group’s badge.

During the panel discussion titled "Youth and Countryside", young people shared their own hometown's experiences and practices in rural construction, as well as their thoughts on youth involvement in rural development. They also discussed traditional Chinese customs such as the Chinese New Year.
