Online intl southern Confucianism exchange program kicks off in Quzhou
Chinese Bridge -- Exploring Quzhou: Home to Southern Confucianism, a program offering online platforms for learning about southern Confucianism, was unveiled in Quzhou, Zhejiang province on Jan 3.
This program is sponsored by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and jointly organized by Quzhou University and the Quzhou Southern Confucianism Cultural Development Center.
A total of 380 students from more than 10 countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, Russia, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Jamaica, Bangladesh and Greece will have a one-week southern Confucianism course through live online classes, video classes, and interactions with students of Quzhou University.

In addition to professional Chinese oral communication, Chinese pronunciation and practice courses, the program will showcase the beauty of the Temple of Southern Confucianism, the Chinese Museum of Confucianism, Shuitingmen Historic and Cultural Block, and Quzhou International Go Cultural Exchange Center online.
Wushi Chuirong, a student from Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, said that she is very excited for the next few days of courses. She hopes to learn a lot and make more like-minded friends through the program.
The program is open to Chinese language enthusiasts from all over the world free of charge. There is no requirement for Chinese proficiency and a certificate is awarded to participants at the end of the program.
