Quzhou's GDP up 4.2% in Q1-3

Quzhou's GDP exceeded 142.78 billion yuan ($19.61 billion) in the first three quarters of this year, a year-on-year increase of 4.2 percent calculated at comparable prices.

In the first three quarters, the added value of the city's primary, secondary and tertiary industries expanded 3.9 percent, 5.6 percent and 3.3 percent year-on-year to 5.56 billion yuan, 62.22 billion yuan and 74.99 billion yuan, respectively.

During this period, the output value of the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industries was 9.02 billion yuan, up 4.2 percent year-on-year.

The added value of the city's industrial enterprises above designated size reached 44.09 billion yuan, an uptick of 7.4 percent year-on-year.

The city's fixed asset investment grew 12.1 percent from January to September.

The revenue of the city's general public budget was 14.06 billion yuan, up 1.7 percent year-on-year.

The expenditure of the city's general public budget was 42.37 billion yuan, up 18.7 percent year-on-year. Spending on public health, grain, oil and material reserves, and social security and employment rose 30.8 percent, 105.0 percent and 16.5 percent, respectively.

Total retail sales of consumer goods in the city reached 61.56 billion yuan, a rise of 4.4 percent year-on-year.

The per capita disposable income of permanent urban residents was 44,598 yuan, increasing 5.9 percent year-on-year, while that of permanent rural residents was 24,461 yuan, up 8.4 percent year-on-year. The per capita income ratio of urban to rural residents was 1.823, 0.043 lower than in the same period last year.
