Han Shi calligraphy, painting exhibition underway in Quzhou

The Public Welfare China – Han Shi Calligraphy and Painting National Tour Exhibition was unveiled at the Quzhou Museum in Quzhou, Zhejiang province on Oct 22.
The exhibition will last for one week and will display more than 100 calligraphy and painting works created by professor Han Shi in recent years.
Han Shi is president of the China Four Treasures of Study Association and the China Academy of Culture and Arts for Public Welfare, vice president of the China Great Wall Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and professor at China People's Liberation Army National Defense University.
Professor Han Shi focuses on the theory and creation of calligraphy and painting and specializes in calligraphy and paintings featuring landscapes, flowers and birds, and characters.
The Public Welfare China – Han Shi Calligraphy and Painting National Tour Exhibition was launched in January 2017 and has been held in 22 cities, including Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Fuzhou, Taiyuan, Xi'an, Sanya, Hangzhou, Yinchuan, Zunyi, Jiaxing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
In addition, Han Shi has donated more than 40 of his calligraphy and painting works to many venues, such as the Art Museum of Fujian, Taiyuan Art Museum and Zhejiang Library free of charge, enriching the collections of local venues and promoting academic and artistic communication.
