In front of the temple, there are two ancient ginkgo trees more than 800 years old. They are not only included in the protection catalogue of ancient and famous trees in Jiangshan, but also rated as "the most beautiful ancient trees in Zhejiang" and "the most beautiful kings of ginkgo trees in Zhejiang".
In addition, the village has given birth to talented people from generation to generation. In the Song Dynasty (960-1279), there were nine Jinshi (successful candidates in ancient Chinese imperial examinations) from the village. Mao Liangzhen, associate professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, also comes from the village.
