Kecheng develops sports, leisure industry to pursue common prosperity
An adventure park in Lingjiushan Tourism Resort in Kecheng district, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province has received nearly 10,000 tourists this month to date, according to local media reports.
The sports and leisure industry has driven the development of the district's tourism. In recent years, with the holding of a number of events themed on forests, such as the Lingjiushan 100-kilometer cross-country race, Lingjiushan international forest car crossing race, and Lingjiushan national forest extreme games, large projects are being attracted to the Lingjiushan Tourism Resort.
A total of 27 projects involving cultural and tourism and water conservancy have been introduced to the resort, with a total planned investment of over 10 billion yuan.
To allow more villagers to enjoy the benefits brought by the sports and leisure industry, Kecheng has developed rural homestays to increase the collective income of villages.
Pushe Lichun Homestay in Miaoyuan village, Jiuhua township, which has been transformed from ordinary farm houses, has attracted many tourists.
Fu Xiaoping, a resident of the village, said that his old house has been transformed into four homestays, and he can now earn 30,000 yuan in rental income every year.
