Quzhou accelerates its track on transport hub

The Quzhou east highway toll booth was open to public on Jan 4 after a transformational optimization process, according to local media reports.
The newly-updated toll booth takes "Virtuous Quzhou" as its core design concept, combining the characteristics of the smart new city of Quzhou, "big garden" city, and industrial development, to create the "cloud portal" of Quzhou, fully reflecting the local differentiating features and its rich cultural deposits.
Quzhou, located in western Zhejiang province in the upper reaches of the Qiantang River, has long been known as a thoroughfare between four provinces: Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Anhui. The development of land ports and transportation infrastructure in Quzhou has reached an unprecedented pace.
Over the next five years, Zhejiang will add 1,800 kilometers of railway, 700 kilometers of metro lines, and 1,000 km of expressways. The pattern of the urban comprehensive transportation hub in Zhejiang has begun to take shape, the distribution network of the comprehensive transportation hub is being gradually improved, and the capacity of comprehensive traffic connections and conversions has been largely enhanced.
