Hengsheng Energy Co Ltd, founded in 2007 – based in Longyou county, administered by Quzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province – was recently listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange with the stock code 605580, according to local media reports on Aug 19. 

"We're very grateful to Longyou's Party committee and the Longyou government for offering us their  strong support," said Hengsheng Energy general manager Yu Heng, at the listing ceremony at the stock exchange.

"Now we have a higher starting point, more resources and can make a greater contribution to our county," Yu added.

The company is mainly involved in the production and supply of steam and hot water. It also offers thermal power generation and distribution.
