Zhejiang spotlights 16 tourist destinations in 8 categories

Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province recently released a list of 16 tourist destinations, which have been named "Shining Pearls in the Big Garden of Zhejiang".
The tourist destinations fall into eight categories: ancient towns and villages; high-profile scenic areas; famed mountain parks; island parks; relic site parks; industrial platforms; water courses with rich culture; as well as ancient pathways in forests.
The ancient towns and villages are: Meicheng Ancient City in Jiande, a county level city in Hangzhou; Cicheng Ancient City in Ningbo's Jiangbei district; Nanxun Ancient Town in Huzhou's Nanxun district; and Zhangsi village in Taizhou's Tiantai county.
The high-profile scenic areas are: Hengdian World Studios in Dongyang, a county level city in Jinhua; Wuzhen scenic area in Tongxiang, a county level city in Jiaxing; Thousand-Islet Lake Tourism Resort in Hangzhou's Chun'an county; and Xinchang 5A Scenic Area in Shaoxing's Xinchang county.
The famed mountain parks are Yandang Mountain in Yueqing, a county level city in Wenzhou, as well as Qianjiang River Origin in Quzhou's Kaihua county.
The island park is Putuo Island Park in Zhoushan's Putuo district.
The relic site parks are Liangzhu National Archaeological Relic Site Park in Hangzhou's Yuhang district, as well as Shanglin Lake Yue Kiln National Archaeological Relic Site Park in Cixi, a county level city in Ningbo.
The industrial platform is Pan'an Jiangnan Medicine Town in Jinhua's Pan'an county.
The water course with rich culture is Songyang Stream in Lishui.
The ancient pathway in forests is Xianxia Ancient Pathway in Jiangshan, a county level city in Quzhou.
