Quzhou city – located in East China's Zhejiang province – decided to end its level IV typhoon emergency response from 3 pm on July 27, according to local media reports.

Typhoon In-Fa – after having made landfall in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, on July 25 and swirling through Hangzhou Bay – made an unprecedented second landfall in the province at around 9:50 am on July 26 in Pinghu.

But by then its maximum wind speed had reportedly diminished to around 100 kilometers per hour.

After making landfall, In-Fa was downgraded to a tropical storm. It is reportedly expected to move further northwest and inland at 5 to 10 km/h, with its strength gradually weakening.

In addition, as typhoon In-Fa gradually wanes, Quzhou's various public cultural venues reportedly resumed normal operations from July 27.
