Foreign trade surges in Quzhou city

Quzhou city – in East China's Zhejiang province – reported a 38.4 percent surge in the value of imports and exports from January to May to 17.36 billion yuan ($2.68 billion) against the same period last year.

In recent years, thanks to a series of policy supports and its improving business vitality, the city has continued to help develop key local businesses, becoming more closely involved in their innovation and transformation and the flexibility of the market.

It's understood that Quzhou has effectively promoted the development of the city's export-oriented economy, by broadening international cooperation in commerce and trade.
