Phase ll of the project – including the project at the Polytechnic Institute at Zhejiang University (ZJU)-Quzhou and the Institute of Zhejiang University-Quzhou – was completed in December 2020, while the casting of the basement floor and roof was subsequently carried out.

Wang Feng, a young man born in Quzhou, was the founder of the well-known hotel brand Chinese Home. In 2018, he invested a platform on the short-video sharing platform Douyin in Shanghai.

However, after years of hard work, he chose to return to his hometown Quzhou last year to start up his own business and founded a company in the Quzhou Smart Industry Park. Wang said he chose to return because the business environment in Quzhou was extremely favorable.

Share new life in smart city

In addition to the construction of the Hangzhou-Quzhou high-speed railway and the high-speed rail station in Quzhou, an urban integration pattern of development between Hangzhou and Quzhou will be formed.

It is expected that as a result, Quzhou will become a strategic node of the Greater Bay area, a core "big-garden" city in Zhejiang, the gateway to western Zhejiang province and a green metropolis.
