Two cross-border e-commerce companies in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province completed the first single customs declaration process through the comprehensive service platform on June 23 and 29, indicating that construction of the city's comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce has entered a new chapter, according to local media reports.

Applications for customs clearance are for the "direct export of cross-border electricity business-to-business (B2B)" and "overseas warehouse of the cross-border electricity export".

Efforts will be made by Quzhou authorities to enhance the cultivation of cross-border e-commerce business and platforms, the construction of warehouses, financial support, talent training, and policy optimization.

The local government will incentivize enterprises to ramp up construction of domestic bonded warehouses and overseas warehouses so as to secure a warehousing edge in markets around the world.
