In 2021, a group of more than 45 special parking spaces will be installed on Xin'an Road -- in Quzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province – according to local officials.

They said that on Zijing West Road of Xin'an Road to Shuyuan West section, some of the "Virtuous Quzhou" parking spaces have already been installed.

As distinct from the conventional parking spaces, these ones are marked with a dotted white line and are equipped with parking signs and electronic monitoring cameras designed to record illegal parking.‍

Time-limited parking time: from 07:00 to 19:00 hrs, the parking time is limited to 20 minutes, with more than that regarded as illegal parking, leading to the traffic police department ticketing offenders according to the information captured by the electronic cameras.

Unlimited parking is allowed from 19:00 to 07:00 hrs the following morning.

The cameras set up alongside the parking spaces are also designed to capture illegal traffic behavior, such as illegal turns at intersections and illegal U-turns.
