New railway route offers great options to Quzhou passengers
High-speed rail is set to become all the rage with the folks of Quzhou – the prefecture-level city in East China's Zhejiang province – where a new railway route will soon allow them to travel directly to the cities of Zhongshan and Zhuhai in South China's Guangdong province, according to local media reports published on Jan 7.
G1301: Officials said the Pearl River Delta tourism route will start operating on Jan 20. It will run from Quzhou and pass through Zhongshan and Zhuhai, further meeting the travel needs of tourist and responding to market changes.
G1635: The original section -- from Shanghai Hongqiao to Fuzhou, in the southeastern coastal province of Fujian province -- will extend to Shanghai Hongqiao to Pingtan (via Changle) in Fujian and high-speed railway stations such as Pingtan will be added in Quzhou.
G7524: A new route: Quzhou-Lianyungang (via Changshu, Zhangjiagang, Rugao, Dongtai and Funing) will also being made available to travelers.
In addition, operator China National Railway Co Ltd has introduced free ticket refund services, to meet novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control requirements.
