Quzhou boosts inland waterway shipping activity

During the handling operation of the vessel Jiaji 302 at Berth 9 of Qujiang port area, Quhou Port, the throughput of inland waterway containers in Zhejiang province exceeded one million TEUs (20-foot equivalent units) for the first time on Dec 24.
The first container line of Quzhou Port was officially opened the same day.
The shipping line opened this time is "Quzhou-Zhapu" container line, which is operated by Jiaxing Inland River Shipping Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Inland River Co Ltd.
From January to November, the volume of containers completed by inland waterways shipping business through Zhapu county in Jiaxing city increased by 141.81 percent compared with the same period last year.
