Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, ranked first in research into the development competitiveness of green finance in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region, according to local media Dec 1.

The city has been at the top of the list for two years in a row. Additionally, the average comprehensive rating of the YRD region in 2020 is B+, compared with B in 2019. It can be seen that cities in the YRD region have made remarkable achievements in green finance in the past year.

Quzhou has consistently rolled out unimpeded financing measures as an important guarantee for strengthening local financial service entities.

There are 325 projects listed in the provincial green project library, ranking second in Zhejiang, with total investment of 275.95 billion yuan ($42.1 billion).

The city has completed the first batch of green enterprise evaluations, and selected 63 "green enterprises", and given out allowances of 5.02 million yuan.
