Under the active planning and promotion of the women's federation of Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, the local cuisine has become a new attractive stage for many women to start up businesses.

Located in western Zhejiang province on the upper reaches of Qiantang River, Quzhou has long been known as a thoroughfare between four provinces: Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and Anhui. This perfect location has guaranteed the city's role as a food materials center offering the most authentic local homemade cuisine, such as Longyou steamed sponge cake, Qigao cake and Quzhou pancake.

The product that Yu Zhijuan relies on is colorful rice cake, which has transformed her from an ordinary rural woman to a "rural revitalization mall expert". Currently, she is also the intangible cultural heritage inheritor of the craft of making Yuhe cake in Qujiang district.

Yu said that the cake, a traditional snack in Hunan town in Qujiang, has a history of more than 200 years, but due to its bitter taste, it has not been popular among outsiders for many years.

For more than 10 years, Yu studied the skills inherited from the older generation in the village, and made appropriate improvements to make the taste more in line with the public aesthetic.
