Quzhou comprehensive transportation investment grows fastest in Zhejiang in H1
Statistically, the half-year comprehensive transportation projects in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province achieved 7.7 billion yuan ($1.1 billion) in investment, which was up 131.6 percent year-on-year and reached 59.2 percent of the annual target of 13 billion. The growing rate ranked first in Zhejiang, according to local media reports on July 20.
Quzhou was listed in Zhejiang's comprehensive transportation projects in the first half of 2020. It completed key transport projects such as the widening of the Jinhua and Quzhou sections of the Hangjinqu (Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou) expressway, which took up 50.6 percent of the annual investment plan.
"We have carried out activities which stimulated the constructors' enthusiasm to complete the transportation projects," said a person in charge at the Quzhou Transportation Department.
By the end of June, a total of 73 inspections had been conducted, through which 192 safety hazards were eliminated.
