Quzhou, in East China's Zhejiang province, is gaining a good reputation for incubating small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The city has built 24 industrial parks exclusively for SMEs and startups. On July 5, eight of them were honored with provincial recognition from the economic and information technology department of Zhejiang province.

Quzhou's incubation campaign is still expanding, as the city has deemed such industrial parks as cradles for startup companies and powerhouses for the private sector economy.

According to the plan, Quzhou will add at least 10 SME manufacturing parks, pilot an advanced SME park featuring digital technologies, and attract more than 900 startup companies.

In the second half, five more SME parks are expected to open their gates to ambitious entrepreneurs across the country and around the globe.
