The folk band 7Grani from Italy staged two concerts in Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province during the Labor Day holiday.

The Italian band gave performances in picturesque Dachen town and ancient Nianbadu town.

The band members sang a total of 17 songs at each concert. They also imitated two popular Chinese songs for their audiences, Jasmine Flower and Swan Goose.

The activity was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Quzhou Municipal Committee and the Italy-China Cultural Exchange and Development Center and organized by the Quzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Long Morning Culture Media Co and the local governments of Dachen and Niandadu towns.

A spokesman for the bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism said that the concerts brought more varied activities to the two scenic spots in Quzhou and the sponsors will consider staging more such activities at local attractions in the future.
