The Jiangshan Business Incubator Base from Quzhou, Zhejiang province was recently launched in the province's capital city Hangzhou.

The base was co-founded by Hangzhou-based Zhejiang University (ZJU), one of China's oldest and most selective institutions of higher education, and the Jiangshan Municipal Government.

Both sides entered into an agreement at the very beginning of 2018 to construct a base with the aim of gathering talents, advanced technologies and incubating businesses for Jiangshan.

ZJU's National Science Park will offer companies in the park services of technology development, technology transfer and talent training as well as help these companies apply for science and technology projects from municipal, provincial or central governments.

A total of eight companies were confirmed to land in the park at the launch ceremony, including three teams in massive health from Zhejiang University.
