Hangtang Xiangfu Hotel is located on the bank of the Qiantang River’s headstream. It has six rooms converted from deserted pump houses where guests can enjoy original natural landscapes and limpid watercourse. All the rooms have landscape platforms allowing guests to drink tea, read books or relax in the open air.

The hotel is themed on five cultural elements - tea-tasting, incense, flower arrangements, zither-playing and calligraphy. Each room is decorated with a censer, tea set, calligraphy and paintings.

There is also a lecture space about the five culture elements where experts are invited to speak on traditional culture and health maintenance. The 500 square meters exhibition hall on the first floor regularly puts on photography, calligraphy and painting, and artwork exhibitions. Guests can enjoy the artwork and have a cup of tea at the eight tearooms in the hall.
