Shuiting Gate, a national 4A tourist attraction, is an important part of the core area of the national Confucian culture industrial park and the central leisure zone of the ancient city of Quzhou. Shuiting Gate Historical and Cultural Block is the area of the city with the most concentrated traditional architecture and the richest historical and cultural heritage.

It has 14 key cultural relic protection units of national, provincial and municipal level and 36 historic buildings with well-preserved architecture styles. Temples, ancestral halls, guild halls, city towers, historical sites and traditional residential buildings are distributed across the block. Against the background of Confucian culture and with the aim of becoming the pilgrimage site for Confucianism in southern China, Shuiting Gate has developed as a landmark combining leisure, cultural innovation, retail, art and technology.
