Quzhou was one of the earliest cities to develop e-commerce in Zhejiang province. It has set the direction and goal of developing e-commerce in rural areas early in 2000. Since then, agricultural technology 110 (farmers’ mailbox) and China’s cereal online trading platform have been established.

Quzhou e-commerce association was established in January, 2001. It is the first prefecture-level association of e-commerce industry in China.

Quzhou government pays high attention to the development of e-commerce, fully responding to the nation’s call of public entrepreneurship and innovation, and implementing the strategic deployment of e-commerce exchange throughout cities.

Quzhou has cultivated a batch of leading e-commerce enterprises and platforms, programmed a cluster of e-commerce industrial parks, gathered a group of e-commerce talents and launched a series of innovative systems, promoting the development of e-commerce industry in this city efficiently.
