Quzhou is the industrial base of photovoltaic industry in Zhejiang province, focusing on the development of solar power generation system, photovoltaic cell pack, photovoltaic power generation system, solar photovoltaic equipment, and solar lighting system etc. 

Quzhou also develops polycrystalline silicon materials, li-ion batteries, and mid-to-high end LED application products actively. 

In the base, there are renowned new high-tech enterprises like Zhejiang Lerri Solar, Yimeixu Photovoltaic, Tonkingtech, Wanxiang Silicon and the only national-level photovoltaic industry across the province.
