The Quzhou International Service Center in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province was inaugurated on May 10, the first such institution of its kind in Zhejiang.

The center will explore the integrated service in the city, including out-going management, the visit of foreigners to Quzhou and commercial certification of foreign trade businesses in Quzhou.

More than 14 local government departments have sent their staff members to work at the center, such as the Foreign Affairs Office of Quzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Quzhou Returned Overseas Chinese Federation and the Quzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security.

A total of 172 different foreign-related affairs can be managed at the center, which is expected to serve more than 60,000 local residents, 1,000 expatriates and over 300 foreign trade companies each year.

With the rapid economic and social development in the city, Quzhou has seen rapidly growing demand for the management of foreign-related affairs.

Statistics showed that in 2018 alone, local departments in the city dealt with more than 120,000 foreign-related affairs.
