The first bee-themed homestay in Kaihua, a county in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, was recently opened to the public.

Covering an area of more than 200 mu (13.33 hectares), the Qifeng homestay is breeding 360 groups of bees and has planted 1,200 honey powder source trees and 80 mu of galsang flowers.

The trial operation part of the homestay houses 41 guestrooms in three buildings and each of them is decorated with bee-related items, such as cartoonish decorations, sketches, and thermometer.

Its guests may try out some DIY activities, such as beeswax lipsticks and honey citron tea, or enjoy an apitherapy.
